The Historic Preservation Commission (HPC), established in 1994, is coordinated by the Community Development Department and is comprised of five members appointed by the City Council. The Commission's regularly scheduled meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 3:00 p.m. The Commission’s primary function is to serve as an advisory body to the City Council and Planning Commission in all matters relating to the identification, protection, restoration and retention of historic sites within the City.
